Singer made a wide variety of presser feet, accessories & attachments, some of which they advertised as "Singer Fashion Aids", even manufacturing & selling the very collectible, popular Singer Fashion Aids Cases, to store your Singer feet, accessories, & attachments in!
One of the more rare feet, is the Singer Fashion Aid Style-O-Matic foot, which they advertised as sewing 17 different finishes! The two part foot, was made prior to the manufacture of the Singer Edge Stitcher, but had many of the same popular features, that made various types of sewing, easier to accomplish. The low shank version of the Style O Matic is part #121095 for the foot part, and the toe of the foot part, is 121145.

You will occasionally find a Singer Style O matic foot on Ebay, or elsewhere online, usually for sale anywhere from $350 to $900, but always make sure before you buy, that the 2nd portion is with the foot. The end of this very long foot, is detachable, to help it morph into sewing different finishes, and without that part, it will not accomplish all of the sewing tasks which it is reputed to sew.
April 1930s website, also known as the Singer Featherweight Shop, is an excellent place to learn about most of the rarest Singer Fashion Aids, & a great place to print out copies of the instructions, if you have the attachment, but not the instruction sheets & manuals. The Style O Matic foot is usually sold out, on this site, even at $795.00 , because dedicated collectors are willing to pay whatever it takes, to collect all of the rarest Singer Featherweight feet & attachments, and Singer Fashion Aids! The Style-O-Matic foot in 2 pieces, always make sure you get both pieces, if possible, the toe part is almost impossible to find, by itself. The attachment 121095 still does most of it's purposes without the part #1211145 toe extension, but with it, you can do more.
