Kenmore Buttonholers for Vintage Sewing Machines

 Kenmore sewing machines are pretty popular, especially as vintage sewing machine fans are snapping up these wonderful sewing machines, and refurbishing, and fixing them, and putting them back to work sewing! Along the way, we are discovering that many of the old Kenmore Sewing machines, especially the popular 148 (Soryu factory) and 158 (Maruzen/Jaguar factory) models, do not always have part numbers engraved on them, so finding out which buttonholers, and accessories belong with a machine, is very difficult, once a machine has been separated from it's accessories, which is probably 75% of the time!

I will be collecting buttonholer part  number information, and adding it to this post, over time, as I acquire it. 

Kenmore machines have both buttonholers which can fit on any low shank zigzag sewing machine, but also, some very unique flat, geared to the system under the machine bed, buttonholers, both in plastic buttonholers,  and my favorite, all metal buttonholers, like the model 90, and model 1753, and some 1802's!
