JC Penney 6915 freearm sewing machine has all the basic stitches, as well as a beautiful scallop embroidery stitch.

Manufactured in Taiwan, this model has an aluminum body and bed extension, and comes in a beautiful vintage suitcase, with ruffled elastic straps, to hold the bed extension when using the freearm.

Plastic tension knob pulls straight off
Ribbed interior has one longer rib, which engages with the starlike nut, to calibrate tension


Green arrow shows how the finger of the back plate, goes right below the takeup spring, when inserted in the groove in the left side of the tension barrel.

Tension cup has the bumped out section on top, when installed correctly.
